About Shivangi-From Engineer to International Yog Therapist

1. A Journey from Stress to Self-Awareness

Before she became a yoga therapist, Shivangi worked as an engineer, living a life many can relate to — long hours, constant deadlines, and very little space for health or self-reflection. The physical toll of sitting for hours and the emotional weight of a high-pressure environment left her feeling disconnected and unwell.

In 2016, after facing intense stress, vision issues, and other physical discomforts, Shivangi made a life-changing decision: to leave her engineering career and begin the journey of knowing herself. That final day as an engineer marked her first step into the world of Yoga.

2. The Spark of a New Life

Encouraged by her mother and guided by curiosity, Shivangi began exploring yoga on her own. With no formal training at first, she practiced consistently using online resources — driven by a deep desire to heal, grow, and understand. As her body softened and her mind became clearer, she experienced the first glimpses of yoga’s transformative power.

What started as personal Recovery quickly turned into a calling.

3. Professional Training and Purpose

Shivangi enrolled in a year-long diploma in Yoga and then completed her Master’s degree in Yogic Science and Therapy from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Over the past 7+ years, she has worked with thousands of people across age groups and health conditions — helping them find relief from chronic pain, stress, and hormonal imbalances through personalised yoga therapy.

She has also authored a yoga book, collaborated with respected yoga teachers and health professionals, and built a dedicated community of over 135,000 followers on Instagram.

4. Her Philosophy and Mission

Shivangi believes yoga is not just a physical practice — it’s a science of the self, grounded in logic and deep experiential wisdom. She follows four guiding pillars in her path: Determination, Discipline, Dedication, and Devotion. These principles shape both her personal journey and her therapeutic approach.

“My mission is to help people live healthier, stronger, and more conscious lives — physically, mentally, and emotionally — while preserving and sharing the true essence of yoga.”
